This 10,000 Zambian kwacha specimen note is dated 1992 and signed by Bank of Zambia Governor Dr. Jacob Mumbi Mwanzi. It is an aqua note that measures 145 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side portrays a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, a dove, a musuku tree, the national coat of arms, and a fish eagle. Its reverse side shows a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, a porcupine, farmers in a rice paddy, and a Freedom Statue. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized BOZ 1000, an all-zero serial number, and a fish eagle watermark. It is a gem uncirculated note that has qualified for PMG'S Exceptional Paper Quality (EPQ) and has one or two minor distractions and above-average centering. Thus, it is graded 65 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). The note was demonetized in 2015.
