The Zambia 20 Kwacha banknote was issued by the Bank of Zambia between 1989 and 1991. Featured on the obverse of the green banknote are a fish eagle, the coat of arms of Zambia, a butterfly, and a portrait of Kenneth Kaunda. The back of the paper bill depicts a hand holding a torch, a dama gazelle’s head, the Freedom Statue in Lusaka, a building with a palm tree, and a carving of a man’s head. The banknote comes with a solid security thread and a watermark that shows Kenneth Kaunda. It is 150 x 73 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, the note has a radar serial number that reads the same forward as backward. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
