The Zambia 5,000 Kwacha banknote was issued by the Bank of Zambia in 2010. The obverse of this purple banknote depicts the coat of arms of Zambia, a dove, an acacia tree, and a fish eagle on a tree branch. The back of the paper bill features a root cassava plant with leaves and the Freedom Statue in Lusaka. This banknote is equipped with a windowed security thread with a demetallized BOZ 5000. It also contains a watermark that reflects a fish eagle, an electrotype 5000 plus a fish eagle, and Cornerstones. This banknote measures 145 x 70 mm and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
