The Zambia 5 Kwacha Banknote issued in 2015 is in uncirculated condition. It is part of the family of notes issued to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the countrys independence. Centered on its obverse is a murera tree which is also known as acacia or mopani tree. Perched on a tree branch at the right is a fish eagle which is Zambias national bird. The front of the bill also bears the nations Coat of Arms and a dove. Its reverse features a lion head, a cassava plant with roots and leaves, and the Freedom Statue standing in Lusaka. The Zambia 5 Kwacha banknote has a windowed security thread with demetalized BOZ 5. It has a watermark of a fish eagle and an electrotype 5 plus a fish eagle. This 140 x 70 mm paper money is signed by the Bank of Zambia Governor Denny Kalyalya.
