The Zambia 50 Kwacha Banknote was issued by the Bank of Zambia between 1986 and 1988. Its obverse side shows the Zambian coat of arms and a portrait of former President Kenneth Kaunda. Its reverse side shows the Freedom Statue in Lusaka and a building. Its security features include a solid security thread and a Kenneth Kaunda watermark. It is 155 mm x 74 mm in size and is signed by Dr. Leonard S. Chivuno. This particular banknote bears a radar serial number and is in uncirculated condition. Additionally, it has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
