Reviews:

This 50 Zambian kwacha specimen note was introduced by the Bank of Zambia in 1989. It is a red-violet and purple note that measures 155 mm x 74 mm and bears the signature of Bank Governor Francis X. Nkhoma. Its obverse side shows a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, a fish eagle, the national coat of arms, a butterfly, and a portrait of President Kenneth Kaunda. Its reverse side features a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint, the Freedom Statue in Lusaka, a zebra head, men working in a factory, and a carving of a topless female. Security features include an all-zero serial number, a solid security thread, and a watermark of Kenneth Kaunda. It is also a gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average centering. Thus, it is graded 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). The note was demonetized in 2015.
