The Zambia 500 Kwacha Banknote was issued by the Bank of Zambia in 1992. The brown banknote depicts the Zambian coat of arms on its obverse. It also shows a fish eagle perched on a branch, a dove, and a baobab tree. The reverse displays an elephant, workers picking cotton, and the Freedom Statue in Lusaka. The note contains a windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals a fish eagle. It is 140 x 70 mm in size and bears the signature of Governor Dominic Mulaisho. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
