The Zero Euro banknote from the 2017-1st print series featured the Festyland in France. It was designed by Richard Faile with an authorized printing by the European Central Bank (ECB) to promote tourism. The obverse side of the note features the famous landmarks of Europe including the Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, Sagrada Familia, Manneken Pis, and the Mona Lisa. On the reverse is the Miolnyr" carousel in Festyland, a small theme park in Normandy, France that is famous for its world of pirates, Vikings, knights, and the Belle Epoque insights. The souvenir banknote shares many of the same features of a real Euro except that it is marked as 0 and is not considered legal tender.
