Zero Euro Europe Banknote, 2017, UNC, 1st Print, Rathaus Remscheid, Germany

The Zero Euro banknote that features the Rathaus Remscheid in Germany is part of the 2017, 1st print series. Its a souvenir banknote with an authorized printing by the European Central Bank (ECB) designed by Richard Faile, creator of famous currency souvenirs, to promote tourism and to highlight the rich culture, beauty, and history of Europe. Printed on the obverse side are some of the most iconic landmarks in Europe including the Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, Sagrada Familia, Manneken Pis, and the Mona Lisa. On the reverse is the stone monument of Bergischer Lowens in front of the Remscheid town hall, the official seat of Lord Mayor, and several authorities of the Remscheid city administration in North Rhine-Westphalia. The banknote shares any of the same characteristics of a real Euro except that they are marked as 0 and are not accepted as legitimate financial currency.
