Zero Euro Europe Banknote, 2017, UNC, 1st Print, Kizoodo Association in Dortmund Germany

The Zero Euro banknote was first introduced in 2015 by the creator of famous currency souvenirs, Richard Faile, to promote tourism. On its 2017-1st print series, the note featured the Kizoodo in Germany showing a spectacled bear, a kangaroo, and a donkey that lives in Dortmund Zoo, a harmonious zoological garden for animals since 1953. The zoo is supported by the Kizoodo Association in launching animal welfare projects with the help of donations. The front design of the note depicts the iconic landmarks of Europe including the Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, Sagrada Familia, Manneken Pis, and the Mona Lisa. The souvenir banknote shares many of the same features of a real Euro except that it is marked as O and is not accepted as legitimate financial currency.
