The Zero Euro banknote is a souvenir Euro note that commemorates places and events. Though it has no value, its printing is approved by the European Central Bank and has the same standard as a Euro banknote with value. This Zero Euro banknote highlights the Festyland theme park in Caen, Lower Normandy in France. The obverse side features one of the parks main attraction, Mjolnir. The reverse side features significant landmarks in the European Union: the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, the Big Ben in London, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Colosseum in Rome, the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the Manneken Pis in Brussels, and da Vincis Mona Lisa. The note has a hologram print and a watermark of a stylized quadrilateral with a 0 inside, a Simultouch area to aid visually impaired people, a copper security stripe, a transparent register, and invisible fluorescent inks and fibers as its security features.
