The Zero Euro banknote is part of the 1st print of the 2017 issues. Conceptualized by Richard Faille and authorized by the European Central Bank, the note was released to promote Europes pride. The notes obverse features Les Plus Beaux Calvaires De Bretagne highlighting the Calvary of Pleyben. The banknotes reverse depicts the Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower in France, Italys Colosseum, Spains Sagrada Familia, the Manneken Pis of Brussels, and the Mona Lisa. Though the note shares similar security elements with a regular banknote, it is marked with 0 on both of its front and back sides and is not considered as legal tender. This souvenir banknote is in uncirculated condition.
