Zero Euro Europe Banknote, 2017, UNC, 1st Print, Ibiza, Spain

The picturesque view of the port city of Ibiza, the capital of the Spanish Balearic island in the Mediterranean Sea in Spain is featured in the Zero Euro banknote 2017-1st print series. It was designed by Richard Faile, creator of famous currency souvenirs, to promote tourism and to highlight the rich culture, beauty, and history of Europe. The front design of the note focuses on the iconic landmarks of Europe including the Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, Sagrada Familia, Manneken Pis, and the Mona Lisa. The souvenir banknote shares many of the same attributes of a real Euro except that they are marked as 0 and is not accepted as legitimate financial currency.
