Zero Euro Europe Banknote, 2017, UNC, 1st Print, Teo Otto Theater in Remscheid, Germany

The Teo Otto Theater in Germany was featured in the Zero Euro banknote, 2017-1st print series. The municipal theater has 620 seats and is the largest in the city that staged the Symphony Orchestra, the Bergische Symphoniker, various operas, concerts, and musicals. It also houses the Night of Sports every year where the best athletes in Remscheid are chosen. The banknote was designed by the creator of famous currency souvenirs, Richard Faile, to promote tourism. The front design of the note is the iconic landmarks of Europe including the Brandenburg Gate, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, the Colosseum, Sagrada Familia, Manneken Pis, and the Mona Lisa. With an authorized printing by the European Central Bank (ECB), the banknote shares any of the same characteristics of a real Euro except that they are marked as 0 and is not considered a legal tender.
