Subtotal: $0.00 USD
This Zimbabwe 1,000 Dollar banknote was released in 2003 as inflation raged and higher denominations were required. The banknote's obverse side depicts the iconic Chiremba balancing rocks in Epworth along with bauhinia flowers and giraffes. The reverse side features three elephants. The country is known to have the second biggest elephant population in Africa. The note is 153 x 77 mm in size and is equipped with a holographic stripe, a solid security thread with a demetalized RBZ 1000 to enhance its security features. A watermark image of Zimbabwe bird Type C and electrotype 1000 are also made visible under UV light.
