The Zimbabwe 1,000 Dollars banknote is part of the 2007 issues. It is gold in color and measures 153 x 76 mm. The obverse side shows the Chiremba balancing rocks in Epworth. The reverse side features the Cathedral of St. Mary & All Saints and Parliament House in Harare and the RBZ headquarters building in Harare. This TAP Authenticated banknote uses a windowed security thread with demetalized RBZ 1000 and balancing rocks hologram and contains a watermark with a Zimbabwe bird Type C and electrotype 1000 design.
