The Zimbabwe 1 Billion Dollars Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe in 2008 as a replacement banknote. Featured on its obverse are the Chiremba balancing rocks, a Zimbabwe bird in Optically Variable Ink, and stylized cow and grains in the underprint. The reverse of the note displays excelsa trees and an elephant. The paper bill contains a 3-mm gold-to-green OVI stripe with a repeating RBZ and bears a low serial number. It is 148 x 74 mm in size and is in used condition.
