Zimbabwe 100,000 Dollars Banknote, 2008, P-75, Error, PMG 64

This 100,000 Zimbabwean dollar note is dated 2008 and bears the signature of the Reserve Bank Governor, Dr. Gideon Gono. It is a purple note that measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side features the Chiremba Rocks in Epworth, a Zimbabwe bird in optically-variable ink (OVI), and an underprint of stylized grains and cows. Its reverse side contains a printing error and shows a Cape buffalo and a bush elephant. Though the note does not have a watermark, it has a 7-mm wide iridescent stripe with repeating RBZ. It is also a choice uncirculated note that has evidence of some handling, off-centering, and no folds. Thus, it is graded 64 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). The note was demonetized in 2015.
