Zimbabwe 50 Million Dollars Banknote, 2008, P-79, PMG 68

The Zimbabwe 50 Million Dollars Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe in 2008. This green banknote features the Chiremba balancing rocks on its obverse. It also features stylized grains and a cow in the underprint and a Zimbabwe bird in Optically Variable Ink. The reverse depicts a cape buffalo and the Great Zimbabwe ruins. The note contains a 7-mm wide iridescent stripe with a repeating RBC. It does not have a security thread and watermark but is signed by Gideon Gono. It is 148 x 74 mm in size and has been graded 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
