The Zimbabwe 50 Trillion Dollar banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe in 2008. The obverse of the green banknote features the Chiremba balancing rocks, stylized grains and a cow in underprint, and a Zimbabwe bird in Optically Variable Ink. It also bears the denomination in numerals and in words. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the Karimba Dam on the Zambezi River and an elephant. Although the banknote does not contain a security thread and watermark, it has a see-through denomination alignment, orange UV serial numbers, fluorescent fibers, and an iridescent “RBZ” stripe. The banknote is 148 x 74 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. This paper bill has a color error and has been TAP authenticated.
