This 500 Zimbabwean dollar note is dated 2001 and signed by Reserve Bank Governor Leonard Ladislas Tsumba. It is a red and yellow note that measures 155 mm x 78 mm. Its obverse side features the Chiremba Rocks in Epworth, two zebras, and a bitter apple flower. Its reverse side shows two zebras and a view of the Hwange thermal power station. Security features include a solid security thread with a demetalized RBZ 500, a holographic stripe, and a Type C Zimbabwe bird watermark with an electrotype 500. It is also a gem uncirculated note that qualified for Paper Money Guaranty’s Exceptional Paper Quality, experienced minor handling, and has above-average centering.
