The olive-green-colored Zimbabwe 500 Dollar Bearer Cheque with a dimension of 148 x 74 mm was issued in 2006. The banknote's obverse side features the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe logo and the denomination in the center. With the signature of Governor Dr. G. Gono printed on the left. The reverse side of the note highlights the Kariba Dam on the Zambezi River and a tigerfish flying out of the water. The note is equipped with a solid security thread with a demetalized RBZ, Zimbabwe bird Type C watermark, and electrotype RBZ.
