This used 500 million Zimbabwean dollar note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. It is a purple note that is dated 2008, bears the signature of Dr. Gideon Gono, and measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side features the Chiremba Balancing Rocks in Epworth and an OVI Zimbabwe bird. Its reverse side shows workers milking cows and a miner with a jackhammer. Though the note does not have a security thread or a watermark, it has a 3-mm gold-to-green OVI stripe with repeating RBZ and a radar serial number.
