The Zimbabwe 500 Million Dollar replacement banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe in 2008. On the obverse of this purple banknote is the Chiremba balancing rock formation in Epworth. It also displays stylized grains and a cow in underprint and a Zimbabwe bird in Optically Variable Ink. The reverse of the note depicts workers milking cows and a miner with a jackhammer. The paper bill bears a 3-mm gold-to-green OVI stripe with repeating RBZ but does not contain a security thread and watermark. It is 148 x 74 mm in size and has a low serial number. This banknote has been TAP authenticated.
