The Zimbabwe 500 Million Dollars banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe in 2008. The purple replacement banknote features the Chiremba balancing rocks on its obverse. It also depicts stylized grains and a cow in underprint and a Zimbabwe bird in Optically Variable Ink. The reverse of the paper bill displays workers milking cows and a miner with a jackhammer. The banknote has a 3-mm gold-to-green OVI stripe with a repeating RBZ. It does not contain a security thread and watermark. The replacement banknote note is 148 x 74 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
