This uncirculated 500 million Zimbabwean dollar note is a replacement for a bearer cheque issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. It is a red note that is dated 2 May 2008, bears the signature of Dr. Gideon Gono, and measures 148 mm x 74 mm. Its obverse side features the RBZ logo. Its reverse side shows a tigerfish and the Kariba Dam. Security features include a solid security thread with a demetallized RBZ and a Type C watermark of a Zimbabwe bird with an electrotype RBZ. The cheque expired on 31 December 2008. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
