This uncirculated 1,000 Mauritanian ouguiya note is a specimen banknote issued by the Central Bank of Mauritania. It is a green and blue note that is dated 29 June 1977, bears the signature of Ahmed Ould Daddah, and measures 165 mm x 90 mm. Its obverse side features woman, a diagonal red SPECIMEN and DLR oval overprints, a horizonal red SPECIMEN number, people and cattle at a water well, palm trees, and cranes. Its reverse side shows a mine shaft. Security features include a solid security thread, an all-zero serial number, and an unknown watermark. Additionally, the note is an about uncirculated note with a few corner folds through the design. It is graded 55 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
