This uncirculated 2,500 Comorian franc note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Comoros in 1997. It is a blue note that bear the signatures of Halifa and Abdou, and measures 150 mm x 85 mm. Its obverse side features a woman wearing a kanga, vanilla pods, and the ocean. Its reverse side shows a green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) and a man in a pirogue boat. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of four stars below a crescent moon. The note was demonetized in 2007.
