This uncirculated 500 Norwegian krone note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Norway. It is an orange note that is dated 2018, bear the signatures of Oystein Olsen and Leif Veggum, and measures 147 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features Colin Archer’s rescue vessel, the RS 14 “Stavanger”, an Atlantic puffin, and a SPARK Orbital rectangle. Its reverse side shows an oil platform on the horizon as a pixel motif, the cubic pattern of 13.9 meters per second, a North Sea gas pipeline network, an ammonite fossil shell, and an organic pattern of a white foam from breaking waves. Security features include a windowed security thread with a holographic anchor chair, a solid security thread with demetallized NB 500, and a watermark of an Atlantic puffin head in profile with an electrotype 500.
