The Nepal 500 Rupees Banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Nepal Rastra Bank in 2000. It has a color combination of brown and violet. Its obverse side features King Birendra in his royal dress and plumed crown, the god Indra, the view of Mount Amadablam and Thyangboche Monastery, and wood carvings. Its reverse side shows two tigers drinking melted snow, the bank logo, and the national coat of arms. Security features include a 2.5 mm-wide windowed security thread with a demetalized NRB and a watermark of King Birendra. The note bears the signature of Satyendra Pyara Shrestha and measures 160 mm x 70 mm. This particular note is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
