This uncirculated 100 Australian dollar banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of Australia. It is a green, orange, and yellow polymer banknote that is dated 2019, bears the signatures of Philip Lowe and Philip Gaetjens, and measures 158 mm x 65 mm. Its obverse side features an Australian masked owl (Tyto novaehollandiae), a Golden Wattle (Acacia pycnantha), a monogram from the cover of Melba’s homecoming concert tour program of 1902, a portrait of Nellie Melba, and Melba performing as Rosina from Barber of Seville. Its reverse side shows the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne and a portrait of John Monash. Because the note is made of polymer, it does not have a security thread. However, the note has a shadow image that shows the national coat of arms.
