Papua New Guinea 20 Kina Banknote, 1996 ND, P-10b.2, UNC

The Papua New Guinea 20 Kina banknote was issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea in 1996. It is red-brown in color and measures 150 x 75 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms with the bird of paradise perched on a Kundu drum, and the ceremonial spear. The reverse side features a boar’s head, a toea (cowrie shell) necklace from Madang, a Toa armband from Central Province, a shell ornament from Western Province, and tapa cloth patterns. The banknote bears a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals the bank logo. This banknote is in uncirculated condition.
