This uncirculated 5 Brazilian Centavos on 50 Cruzeiros note is a provisional banknote issued by the Central Bank of Brazil in 1966. It is a purple, orange, blue, green, and red note that bear the signatures of Denio Chagas Nogueira and Otavio Gouveia de Bulhoes, and measures 157 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features a black circular BANCO CENTRAL 5 CENTAVOS overprint and Princesa Isabel wearing a pearl necklace. Its reverse side shows LEI AUREA (golden law of 1888 abolishing slavery) represented by seated allegorical women holding stone tablet with open shackles, chains, and stocks.
