This uncirculated 20,000 Rupiah Indonesia note is a standard circulation banknote issued by Bank Indonesia. It is a green, red, blue, and yellow note that is dated 1997, bear the signatures of Heru Soepraptomo and Joseph Soedradjad Djiwandono, and measures 152 x 72 mm. Its obverse side features a Heraldic shield as registration device, a red bird of paradise (CENDERAWASIH MERAH) coat of arms. Its reverse side shows the Clove plant (CENGKEH), heraldic shield and map of Indonesia. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized BI and a watermark of Ki Hajar Dewantara and electrotype bank seal. The note was demonetized in 2010.
