The Saudi Arabia 1 Riyal is one of the notes issued in 2012. This banknote comes with a fancy serial number. It is also graded 65 by the Paper Money Guaranty. Its obverse bears a portrait of King Abdullah as well as the 7th-century Amawi gold dinar which is the first Islamic coin. The back of this 133 x 63 mm banknote features the Saudi Arabia Monetary Authority headquarters building and the National Emblem which depicts a palm tree and two swords. Its security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized SAMA 1 on it. Its watermark is a portrait of King Abdullah, an electrotype 1, and Cornerstones.
