This uncirculated 1,000 Colombian peso note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of the Republic of Colombia. It is a blue and brown note that is dated 1 November 1994, bear the signatures of Miguel Urrutia Montoya and Fernando Copete Saldarriaga, and measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features Simon Bolivar, the Puente de Boyaca (Boyaca Bridge), and an eternal flame. Its reverse side shows two horseback lanceros (lancers), the Liberty head bank seal, and the Lose Heroes del Pantano de Vargas (The Heroes of Vargas Swamp) by Rodrigo Arenas Betancur. Security features include a solid security thread, a solid security thread with printed BRC 1000, and a watermark of Simon Bolivar.
