The Cambodia 500 Riels banknote was issued by the National Bank of Cambodia in 1998. It has a color combination of red and purple. The obverse side depicts the Angkor Wat on the right and the Coat of Arms of Cambodia on the upper left. The reverse is a rice paddy scenery dotted with palm trees and with two tractors and workers. A tree and an animal carving are also visible. The 133 x 62 mm banknote is made of paper and carries a lotus flower pattern watermark. It is also signed by Tieng Seng and Thor Peng Laeath. This particular banknote is in used condition.
