This used 1 Billion Dollars Zimbabwe note is a replacement banknote issued by the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe. It is a purple note that is dated 2008, bears the signature of Dr. Gideon Gono, and measures 148 x 74 mm. Its obverse side features Chiremba balancing rocks in Epworth, stylized grains and cow in underprint and Zimbabwe bird in OVI. Its reverse side shows Kariba Dam on Zambezi River, miner with jackhammer and 3-mm gold-to-green OVI stripe with repeating RBZ. There is no security thread or watermark.
