The Afghanistan 10,000 Afghanis Banknote was issued by the Afghanistan Bank in 1993. It has a color combination of blue, green, and red. The obverse depicts the bank seal of Da Afghanistan Bank represented by a cornucopia, ancient coins, and horsemen. It also shows the Friday Mosque. Its reverse displays the Arch of Qala-e-Bost (Great Fortress of Bost). The 171 x 76 mm paper bill has the bank seal as its watermark and has a solid security thread with printed 10000 and text.
