The Fiji 5 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 1998. The specimen banknote bears a red SPECIMEN overprint on its obverse and reverse. Its obverse side features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a Bunedamu bird perched on a branch, a silver metallic ornament, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. The reverse side features the Nadi International Airport (NAN) with baggage carts and other maintenance vehicles servicing four passenger planes, a domodomo, flowers, and a catamaran ferry. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and is equipped with a windowed security thread and Fijian head watermark. It also contains a domodomo registration device. The specimen banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
