The Fiji 50 Cents banknote was issued by the Government of Fiji in 1971. Its obverse side depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the regalia of the Order of the Garter, painted by Italian artist Pietro Annigoni. It also shows the Coat of Arms of Fiji. Printed on the reverse side is a thatched house with palm trees, mountains, and harbor in the background. The note is 159 x 66 mm in size and contains a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark. It also has signature Wesley Barrett. This replacement banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
