Its obverse side depicts the Bank of Ghana building in Accra while the reverse side features a star in the center and cocoa trees on the side. The banknote's security features include a solid security thread and a GHANA in star watermark. This banknote has been given a grade of 63 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
