The Guyana 100 Dollars banknote from 2016 is slightly modifiedcompared to the preceding series. It contains a larger numeral for the denomination in the upper left front corner and a different screen trap background pattern. Printed on the banknote's obverse side is the bank logo and the map of Guyana. The reverse side features the St. George Cathedral, one of the tallest wooden cathedral in Georgetown that was built in the 19th century. The note measures 156 x 65 mm and contains a windowed security thread with demetalized GUYANA and a watermark image of a red macaw parrot head, cornerstones, and electrotype 100.
