The Haiti 10 Gourdes Banknote was issued by the Bank of the Republic of Haiti in 2013 to commemorate the bicentennial of Haitian independence from France on January 1, 1804. The banknote comes in a color combination of light blue and purple and printed on polymer. Its obverse features the coat of arms with a cannon, flags, an anchor, a bugle, a drum, and a palm tree. It also portrays Lieutenant Sanite Belair, soldiers fighting with rifles, and the coat of arms over a clear window. The reverse of the note depicts a coat of arms over a clear window and the Fort Cap-Rouge (Fort Red Cap) in Jacmel. The banknote does not contain a security thread and watermark. It measures 132 x 64 mm. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
