Jerichow 25 Pfennig - 1 Mark 3 Pieces Notgeld Set, 1921, Mehl #658.1a, UNC

This notgeld set contains three pieces 25 Pfennig - 1 Mark that were issued and circulated in Jerichow from July 1921 to April 1922. The notes included in the set are 25 pfennig, 50 pfennig, and 1 mark. The obverse side of the notes feature a field in different seasons framed by wheat ears. The 1 mark note also feautres Otto von Bismarck, the former Minister President of Prussia. The reverse side of the notes feature the following: a depiction of Joshua 6:20 on the 50 pfennig note, the Monastery of Jericho on the 25 pfennig note, and the Schonhausen Palace, the birthplace of von Bismarck, on the 1 mark note. The notes do not have watermarks nor security threads. However, they are in uncirculated condition.
