The Kyrgyzstan 1,000 Som Banknote from 2000 comes in a limited-edition 8 piece uncut sheet. Its front design features a portrait of 11th-century Turkic poet Jusup Balasagyn. On the reverse is the Takhti Sulaiman, an ancient architectural monument in Sulaiman Mountain. Each note has a dimension of 165 x 78 mm and contains a Windowed security thread with demetalized 1000 COM, Kyrgyz text, and ornament to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of Jusup Balasagyn with electrotype 1000.
