This uncirculated 1,000 Lebanese livre note was reintroduced by the Bank of Lebanon in 2004. It is signed by Governor Riyadh T. Salameh and First Vice-Governor Ahmed Jachi. It had a green color scheme and dimensions of 115 mm x 60 mm. Its obverse side contains Arabic text and alphabetic characters. Its reverse side contains more alphabetic characters, Arabic and French text, a cedar tree, and a serial number bar code. Because the note already has a barcode, it does not have a security thread or a watermark. The features of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
