The Mexico 1,000 Pesos Banknote, released in 2006, is part of the 2004-2017 issues, series B. This banknote is rose and violet in color, which measures 155 x 66 mm and was given a grade of 67 by the grading company Paper Money Guaranty (PMG). The front side shows the portrait of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, the Bell of Dolores along with the map of Mexico as a registration device. The back side shows the University of Guanajuato. This banknote features the Windowed Motion security thread and solid security thread and has the portrait of Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla for its watermark.
