This uncirculated 2 Papua New Guinean kina note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Papua New Guinea between 1981 to 1991. It is a purple note that bear the signatures of Henry ToRobert and John Vulupindi and measures 148 mm x 73 mm. Its obverse side features the national coat of arms. Its reverse side shows primitive currencies, a Hombuli mask used for bridal payments in the Sepik region, a kina shell used in Highlands, a shell necklace from Milne Bay, a necklace interwoven with New Ireland seeds, and tapa cloth patterns.
