This commemorative Peru 1 Sol coin is part of the Endangered Wildlife of Peru series released by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru in 2018. The front side of this coin features Darwins rhea or the suri which is the biggest non-flying bird endemic to America. Depicted on the reverse of this nickel-brass coin is the coat of arms of Peru. This commemorative coin was engraved by Felipe Escalante Chunocca and minted by the Casa Nacional de Moneda in Lima, Peru. The Peruvian 1 sol coin weighs 7.32 grams and has a diameter of 25.5 mm. It comes in minted condition.
